First of all, Here we are talking about the folder of your user which can be found in "C:\Users" folder. So if you want to change that folder's name then you just can't simply Right click on it and rename it. You will have to follow certain procedure to do this.
Note: If you are not a pro at using computer then just do as directed because here we are going to make changes in registry of computer so a little mistake can be harmful to your computer.
Lets get started,
Note that, we will call Old_Username to username which you want to change and New_Username which you want to set.
1) Click on Search Bar and search "cmd".
2) Then click on "Run as Administrator".

3) Type "net user administrator /active:yes" and press Enter.
4) Now close Command prompt and sign out from the current user.
5) After Signing Out of your user-account you will find another user named "ADMINISTRATOR" in your login screen.
6) Now Sign in into "ADMINISTRATOR" user by simply click on 'Sign in'.
7) If you are signing in first time into Administrator user then this process will take some time, which is common.
8) After signed in to the Administrator right click on start button and click on Computer management.
9) Now Follow this path "Computer Management\Local Users and Groups\Users".
10) Then Find the user whose name you want to change and rename it.(To rename it just right click on the username and select"Rename" option and type your new name)
11) Now close Computer Management.
12) Now Press 'Windows + R' and search "regedit".
13) Then follow this path "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList".
14) Now you have access to profilelist folder so check all the folders and get the one in which you find the Old_Username.
15) Once you find out the folder then just double click on the file on which you find Old_Username.
16) By double clicking that file you will find the dialogue box and in that dialogue box you will have to change "Value of Old_Username " to New_Username and then click on OK.
17) Now press 'Cltr + F' and search for your "C:\Users\Old_Username" and whatever you get just edit it with your New_Username instead of Old_Username.
18) If you change 1 file then press 'f3' and change another if you find another result.
19) When all the files will be updated with New_Username then you will find the messege shown below.
20) If you got the messege shown above then close "regedit" screen and switch to your regular user.(Just like you have switched to Administrator User)
21) After signed in into your Regular user ,Run Command Prompt as Administrator.(To run command prompt as administrator follow 'step 1' and 'step 2'.)
22) Now type "net user administrator /active:no" and press Enter.
23) Close Command Prompt and restart your System.
24) Congrats! You have nailed it.
